Dutch coach Martinus Nooij, commonly known as Mart Nooij, has been linked with the vacant head coach position at Gaborone United in recent days. The experienced coach has worked in Africa for close to 13 years. His last appointment was coaching the Tanzania senior national team where he had an unsatisfactory record of only three wins in 18 official games.
The club has remained coy on who they will appoint but an official announcement is expected next week. On Monday they reportedly parted ways with assistant coach Oris Radipotsane, the club is expected to install a brand new technical team. Popular and reliable Facebook page Killer Pass also mentioned the possible arrival of the Dutch coach a few days ago.
