Diamond service awards to be held 8th December

With Customer Service expectations continually rising, the wider community is becoming aware of the value and role that Customer Service plays in achieving business success. In a world of replicable services and products, Customer Service has become a critical success factor for many organizations. Botswana has been noted to have a culture of hospitality.

Together with main sponsor and partner Debswana, Service Bridges Consulting bring will be hosting  the 8th Diamond Service Awards themed “raising the bar of service excellence”. The winners of these awards will be announced at a gala presentation dinner to be held at the GICC on the 4th of December 2014. The awards has been strengthened by the support of Debswana, First National Bank of Botswana, AFA, Banc ABC and the Botswana Gazette.

The Diamond Service Awards are inspired by the Botswana Diamond itself and are held to honor men and women in who day in, day out choose a life of unmatched customer service delivery. Like Diamonds, they are a rare find. “Diamond” comes from the Greek term “adamas,” which means “unconquerable.” A diamond is also known for its outstanding brilliance and fire, and so are the recipients of the Diamond Service Awards. They are unconquerable and illuminate the front and back stages of their organizations.

The Diamond Service Awards celebrate those service providers who believe and execute with excellence showing the value and preciousness of the privilege to serve others. To honor employees that have gone “above and beyond” their normal job responsibilities in helping their internal and external customers and consistently promoting customer service excellence is the aim of the Awards event.
