In its short two-year existence, Airport Junction mall has solidified its position as the country’s premier lifestyle shopping centre, hosting innovative big and exciting events that have kept it attractive. On the 10th of May the mall will celebrate its 2nd anniversary, which promises bigger and even exciting activities.

“Airport Junction shopping centre brings what promises to be a fun day, filled with the most exciting activities for their second year anniversary celebrations.  We will host our event celebrations at our breath taking park adjacent to the A1 road,” said Ndumiso Kgosikhumo of Airport Junction Centre Management.

For the activities that will take place during the day, Kgosikhumo said, “If you are a motorbike fanatic, this will be the most fulfilling show ever as a number of big hauling machines from South Africa as well as local bikers will be at the event. Jaw dropping motorbike stunts featuring the Le Riche brothers and the world champion stunt biker, Brian Capper will also grace this show. An array of different activities is guaranteed on the day such as kiddies’ entertainment, braai festival and performances by PJ Powers and the contemporary kwaito hits group Big Nuz. Truly this event is focused on laid back entertainment for all age groups as we say goodbye to summer time and welcome the winter season.”

Local DJ’s Groove Cartel, Phou Boi, Myza, Archduke and German Dollar also make up part of the line up.   Gracing the event and also awarding the plethora of prizes to be given out on the day is Vic Pardal (DSTV’s Mzansi Ridez former presenter).

Airport Junction mall will also be collecting blankets during the day from people willing to donate to a charity organization to be identified at a later stage. Cover charge will be P150 while the first 500 people will get in at P100.  For people donating a blanket, their entrance fee will be reduced by P50.
