The Beauty and Slimming Spa launches a winter fitness campaign

The Beauty and Slimming Spa is an exclusive one-stop beauty haven catering for the needs of a discerning clientele and is situated at the African Mall in Gaborone. Last week, the beauty spa launched a weight loss, body sculpting and winter fitness campaign aimed at encouraging their clients to prepare their bodies for the changing  seasons under the tagline; ‘Summer bodies are made in winter.’ The spa provides a new realm of beauty treatments that combine advanced technology, superior quality products and skilled techniques to deliver an experience of luxury, comfort and results.

“The tagline comes to life with this campaign. We are sensitizing the public about our revolutionary methods of body improvement that have until now existed only in other countries. In today’s fast paced world and busy schedules, we realized the need to come up with innovative, multi-faceted ways of achieving one’s body goals, revealing a new and improved you just in time for summer,” said the Managing Director of the Spa, Otsile Molefe.

During the launch, it was announced that five well known personalities in different industries have been selected to go on a three months fitness trial to become living testimonies of the effectiveness of the treatments offered at the spa. Their progress and developments will be monitored and regularly shared with the public through various media platforms. The personalities are radio personality and fashion designer, Mothusi Lesolle; former radio presenter, Primrose Gowoka popularly known as ‘Mimi the Fabulous;’ Miss Botswana 2006 and former TV presenter, Lorato Tebogo; Lifestyle writer for the Echo Newspaper, Lame Modise; and the Managing Director of Incepta Communications, Thabo Majola.

“We thought it was critical to bring together well known names and faces that Batswana will recognize, and showcase their progress and the effects of the treatments as they go through the programme,” added the Brand Ambassador of The Beauty and Slimming Spa and the Summer Bodies campaign, radio personality, One Rabantheng.

The participants signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to demonstrate their commitment to the programme and will go through a strict schedule of therapy which includes laser therapy, radio frequency, electro-frequency, sauna blankets and other interventions. They will be put under a strict schedule of 3 or 4 sessions per week, that will see them alternating the treatments and targeting specific problem areas as requested by candidates. The health benefit is that the spa treatments deal with fat reduction. They will also be engaging the expertise of Food Safe International’s Nina Hamid, who will determine health, medical, and dietary status of participants and draw their eating / food plans.

“We realize that looking good remains a critical component to us for personal and professional confidence, thus we want to take our audience along with us for the ride and demonstrate just how effective our treatments are. Any adult with imperfections such as love handles, man boobs, mommy tummy, ‘bye bye’ arms or facial skin imperfections can come to us for a consultation, and our therapists and fitness specialists will be able to recommend the best solution for your areas of concern,” concluded Otsile.
