After the success of Motlha’s one man show in June, Medumo Entertainment will host Botswana music veteran Maxy Sedumedi for a show simply billed as, ‘One Night with Maxy’. The highly anticipated event which is guaranteed to take fans down memory lane will be held at the Tlotlo Hotel Conference Centre on August 4th 2018.
Artists supporting the ‘Queen of Sand’s’ first solo show include South Africa’s Freddie Gwala and Pure Gold, alongside Botswana jazz legend Banjo Mosele. The versatile Maxy boasts 13 albums in her repertoire, released over an 18 year music career and says she has long wanted to take the road less travelled by staging her own show and leaving footprints in the sand like the queen she is. Tickets for the show are sold at Liquorama for P200.
