South Africa’s Tsonga rapper, Sho Madjozi set the stage ablaze this past weekend at the second installment of the teenage festival dubbed Skychella in Gaborone. Organised by local empowerment brand SKY Girls BW, the Huku hitmaker and a thousand teenage girls celebrated staying true to themselves at Ba Isago University Hall in Block 7.

“We are excited to bring the second instalment of SkyChella. At last year’s event over 2500 girls came out on the day, and everyone had a great experience. There are not many safe, fun and free experiences for young people so we are proud that we can provide that,” SKY Project Manager, Tapiwa Mlambo said.

Madjozi who was nominated four times by the South African Music Awards end of last week was the headlining act for Skychella and performed alongside Vee, Casper the Dj, Ignor3d, Frost Legato and many more artists. The event was free of charge and for the safety and convenience of the audience, free transport was provided from Rail Park Mall to the venue.
