The Top 12 Miss Botswana finalists have been decided and were announced last week by the judging panel. Through a strict and selective process based on Boot Camps encompassing physical exercise, public speaking, project management, talent management, 12 ladies have been selected and are now closer to being crowned Miss Botswana 2017. The theme for this year is ‘Beauty and Socio-economic transformation’. It speaks to using beauty as a tool for social upliftment and pageantry as an industry that can contribute to the economic development of our country. The judges strongly believe that the 12 finalists selected have the potential and capacity to use the crown to ensure this. They will compete to wear the prestigious crown on 28th September 2017 and the crowned Queen will then move on to represent Botswana at the 67th edition of Miss World in November.
