PPC Cement Botswana has indicated that close to 18, 000 entries into their dream house competition have been made so far, with three months to go before the grand draw. The competition will see one lucky winner having himself a P4 million worth double-storey house that is currently under construction in Gaborone Block 10.
The company said that it receives close to 3, 500 monthly entries, and expects to have 25, 000 entries by the end of the competition. “Every month we give away a Samsung TV and a DSTV decoder with subscription,” the company said, indicating that they have realised that customers who traditionally did not buy from them have started buying from them.
“All you need to do is to buy any 5 bags of PPC cement and enter into the competition. The draw is done every month and the grand draw will be done by the end of November to pick the winner of this house,” the company said. To enter the competition, one has to sms his or her invoice number and name of store where they purchased the products, to 17666, and each SMS will be charged at P2.50.
Giving an update to the media last week, PPC Cement Botswana General Manager, Werner Debeer said construction of the house is progressing well, indicating that it is on time and on budget. “We continue to receive huge amount of entries for this house,” he said. He noted that PPC Botswana is working on improving workmanship in the construction industry.
The three bed-roomed dream house is expected to be complete in December, and the lucky winner can use it as a residential place, or can serve as a good investment property. The house is situated a few minutes walk from Airport Junction and Sebele malls, as well as the A1 road, and a few minutes away from Sir Seretse Khama International Airport.
