Sales and Marketing director of Huawei for Eastern and Southern Africa Harvin Appadoo has revealed that Huawei Consumer group BG and Leica Camera AG are set to start a strategic partnership which will see both technology and photography brands create a powerhouse in their invention of smartphone photography.

Down the years Huawei, has slowly walked up the ladder in digital media, and in 2012 the company became the third world’s third largest smartphone manufacturer, and was the first Chinese company to sell more than 100 million mobile phones in the last year.
For their part CEO of Leica Camera AG,Oliver Kaltner expressed delight in the strategic partnership, pointing out that the two brands will push technology to greater heights in the near future.
