Project Music in collaboration with Body Arts will be bringing to Botswana talented international artists and poets; P4CM which consist of international performers Jannete Ikz, Ezikiel Azonwu, Lilly Million and The Body Art Poetry Collective which consists of local poets. The event will take place on the 6th of June at the Westwood Auditorium at 7pm. Among The Body Art Poetry Collective, are Tee Mafokate, Nancy Kombani, Thato Kealotswe, Naomi Mwela, Bakanag Masibi, Bokamoso Mass Kefentse, Liberty Moeng and Thabang Chukura.
According to The Body Arts Movement spokes person, Randy Nkwe Body Arts is a Christian arts movement founded by four friends Randy Nkwe, Denise Kamyuka, Kinsley Sayed and Kelly Sayed in order to give young Christians to express their art in a different way, “We aim to bridge the gap between the streets and the pulpit, to give ourselves and others an alternative to enjoying and celebrating our Christianity,” said Randy. Body Arts is open to poets, photographers, singers, fine artists and many others brought together by their faith and love for the arts.
She further revealed that Project Music creates a platform for collaboration with international artists. The theme for this event is ‘Rep Him Well’ and tickets are priced at P150.00.
