The annual Wedding and Fashion Expo slated for the 12th of April at Lansmore Masa Square promises to be a dazzling affair that will inspire soon- to- be brides and grooms on the choices of their big day as well as disburden them of the hard work usually associated with the day’s preparations.
“Aside from ramping up our efforts to make it even more unforgettable than the first Wedding and Fashion Expo, we are working on a much bigger scale that will include international designers and design houses like Taibo Bacar from Mozambique and Rubicon Hangwani Nengovhela from South Africa. Craig Jacobs, who joined us last year, will also return to showcase his label Fundudzi,” said Lansmore marketing executive Botho Mogami.
New local designers will also be added to the mix from last year; they include Lebo Merafhe, Kaone Moremong, Black Trash, iZaura by Mothusi Lesolle, and Thabied by Thabiso Dibeela.
“On the Wedding Expo side, we are excited to have yet another impressive array of exhibitors from across the board, so there will be something for everyone. Designers will have stalls during the Wedding Expo for a more interactive platform, where they will give the public a chance to talk to them and get contacts for future reference.”
The Wedding Expo will start at 10am until 5pm, with free entry for all and is targeting brides and grooms, fashion lovers and young professionals looking for ideas and advice.
“The expo all builds up to the big event, the Lansmore Fashion Show presented by Peroni, which will be held later in the evening of the same day. There designers will showcase their collections,” Mogami said, adding that the show, sponsored by Peroni will start at 7pm.
“Tickets will be available at Lansmore Masa Square and Liquorama (Kgale, Molapo Crossing and Riverwalk stores) at P200. There are lots of prizes to be won throughout, so keep your eyes and ears out and be sure to follow our social media pages for more info,” she added.
