Orange launches iPhone 6

Apple officially released two smart phones on September 17  around the world and Botswana got to welcome the smartphones’ newbies via Orange this past weekend. The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus have set the bar high for competing brands with their latest releases.

 
Speaking during the launch the Public Relations manager of Orange Boga Chilinde explained the exciting hardware and software features iPhone enthusiasts can look forward to. “Apple’s new iPhones are available in 16, 64, and 128 GB capacities.They have the biggest iOS release ever which is iOS 8; the world’s advanced mobile operating system. Built on 64 bit desktop class architecture, the new A8 chip delivers more power, even while driving a larger display. The M8 motion coprocessor efficiently gathers data from advanced sensors and a new barmeter. And with an increased battery life, iphone 6 lets you do more, for longer than ever,” she said.

 
The iphones have a better designs, characterised by  a smooth metallic  skin that meets the new Retina HD display. The phone has a larger screen, an ultra thin body (6.9mm) rounded corners as, improved wireless speeds well as major camera improvements in the form of sensor upgrades.

 
The iPhone 6 16GB is priced at P9299, 64GB P10699, 128GB P12099 meanwhile the iPhone 6 Plus 16GB is priced at P10699, 64GB P12099 and 128GB goes for P13599.
