Tafnaz’s Latest Drop is For You To Feel

No features. No shortcuts. Just emotion turned all the way up. On For You To Feel, Tafnaz trades trends for truth and delivers an R&B album designed not only for streaming but for surviving life

There is something rebellious about releasing a 17-track R&B album in an era obsessed with quick hits and shorter attention spans. But Tafadzwa “Tafnaz” Nazare is not chasing the algorithm. He is chasing feeling.

His third studio album, For You To Feel, arrives like a late-night conversation that goes deeper than expected — intimate, reflective and unafraid to sit with uncomfortable emotions.

Across the project, Tafnaz opens the door to love, heartbreak, nostalgia, healing and self-discovery, creating music that feels less like performance and more like confession.

NO FEATURES, NO DISTRACTIONS

Unlike many modern releases stacked with guest appearances, For You To Feel stands alone.

No featured artists. No borrowed moments.

That decision gives listeners uninterrupted access to Tafnaz’s artistic world, one built on smooth vocals, layered storytelling and deliberate vulnerability.

“Instead of writing songs just to entertain people, I wanted to create something that people could genuinely connect with. Every song captures a different emotion or chapter, and together they tell a bigger story,” he told Time Out.

Tracks like Pink Diamond, Ghost, Wait For Me and Visa reveal an artist sharpening his identity rather than chasing trends.

WHEN MUSIC BECOMES THERAPY

The album title came from a deceptively simple question: what should people leave with after listening?

For Tafnaz, the answer was never replay value.

“I wanted them to feel something. Whether it’s love, heartbreak, nostalgia, hope or healing, every emotion has value.”

That emotional openness extends beyond the lyrics. Tafnaz also plays guitar across multiple songs, adding texture to a project shaped alongside producers Stretch, Royal DJ, KD Bangers, Abitola, Team Distant, Ndabezinhle, Jusbeats and Amo Beats.

His connection between photography and songwriting says everything about where he is creatively.

“Photography taught me to capture moments with a camera. Music has taught me to capture emotions with sound. For You To Feel is where those two worlds meet.”

HIGHER THAN THE PLAYLIST

As the follow-up to Situationship I and Situationship II, this project sounds bigger, cleaner and more self-assured.

But Tafnaz’s ambition stretches beyond streams.

“My goal is to see Botswana’s R&B stand proudly on the regional and global stage.”

Tafnaz is preparing for an official album launch event, which will mark another major milestone for the project. From there, he plans to tour the southern region before expanding internationally with a European tour where collaborations with European artists are expected.
