Local hip hop artist, Veezo View will launch his video dubbed Get Lost on 20th July 2017 at Chez Nicholas Night Club in Gaborone.
The video was shot by an up and coming production house 318 Films under Skeen Keike. Get Lost is the second single off of Veezo View’s EP titled “PRE-VISA”. The track GET LOST was produced by Rookie Gold, a hip-hop South African producer.
The official video launch at Chez Nicholas comes after the success of the Veezo View Brand launch which was held on 23rd February 2017. The event was staged predominantly for music industry stakeholders and partners at Jessy’s Bistro by CBD.
Veezo’s manager Zenzele Hirshfeld said they are confident the song’s exceptional production and creativity will land it a spot in Africa’s biggest and most influential music platforms. “Art in its many forms has the power to bring people together and artistic expression like Get lost music premiere event has the ability to do the same,” she said.
It is the intention of Veezo View and his management to represent Botswana to the best of their abilities as ambassadors of the creative industry in the country in events like these, according to Hirshfeld.
She added that it was their hope that the Get Lost video in its musical form will successfully open doors not only for Veezo View but for other local artists in Botswana. Veezo View’s next video titled Zaka from EP “Pre Visa” is due to be released on or before 1st September 2017.
