Winners’ Chapel International Botswana Collaborates with Government to Fight Covid-19

On behalf of Winners Chapel International, Botswana I, Pastor Stanley Nkwoji wish to appreciate the Almighty God for His benevolence and goodwill towards us as a nation during this trying time.

In the true sense of patriotism and our continued support, the leadership and management of Winners Chapel International Botswana wish to use this medium to announce our BWP 100,000,00 financial contribution towards Covid-19 Relief Fund. We believe that this will go a long way as part of our collective effort in keeping our nation safe and Covid-19 virus-free, and towards lessening the negative impact the virus may cause in our economy.

We also appreciate the President of the Republic of Botswana, His Excellency, Dr Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi, members of the Executive, the Judiciary and the Entire Team, constituted in fighting Corona Virus. Furthermore, we are all aware of the tireless efforts and the commitment by the Government in fighting the pandemic, which has claimed tens of thousands of lives across the globe. We have no doubt, that together as a Nation, this will be a history in a short period of time.

As a faith-based organization, with a global outreach mandate, we believe that the current situation calls for partnership. It is therefore on this note, and following the call made by the Government a few weeks ago, calling on people, businesses and institutions to support in fighting this scourge of the virus, to play our part as an organization in response to that call, just as we have partnered with Governments of other nations in fighting this pandemic.

Also, as a way of alleviating the negative impact of Covid-19, we are in the process of distributing various food packages to identified members of the Church and the community across the nation, estimated to well over BWP 40,000,00.

Finally, we also want to convey our thanks to the people of the nation of Botswana, for adhering to the regulations and measures put in place by the Government in a bid to contain and combat this virus. We wish our Government, members of the Covid-19 task team, and the entire health care workers well.

INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP
As an International faith-based organization, under the leadership of Dr David Oyedepo, we are committed to the upliftment of mankind from all that constitutes oppression to their well-being, spiritually, physically, socio-economically and otherwise, with the aim of releasing mankind, (especially, the African child), to unleash their potentials for the benefits of their world.

For nearly four decades of its operations, we have been committed to this bid of (holistic emancipation of man), through seminars, Bible teachings, leadership training, schooling men and women to exploits in life, welfare relief operations, educational development and Church ministry all over the African continent and beyond.

Over the years, for instance, our relief and welfare operations have been recognized by the International Red Cross in nations, including Rwanda, Liberia and other parts of Africa at various degrees to mention but a few. This and many more validate our commitment in joining hands and partnering with Governments of Nations in ameliorating and possibly eradicating human suffering through robust spiritual and socio-economic empowerment and support.

Together, we will overcome!
Stanley Nkwoji- National Pastor
