Mogakolodi Ngele made his return to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM)’s match-day squad this weekend as his club won 1-0 against Maritzburg United, the win ended their 10 game winless run in the league which stretched back to November. In the 10-game winless run the club had also lost five straight games in recent weeks.

Ngele has missed the club’s last seven games after the club had not paid the players their full salaries, the Zebras star and many other senior players had elected to stop training until their situation had been addressed.

New coach Dylan Kerr named Ngele on the substitutes’ bench but he did not use him in the 1-0 win over Maritzburg United. The win will be a welcomed boost for the team as they aim to avoid relegation in their maiden season in the DSTV Premiership. For Ngele, he has a personal mission of avoiding releagation as he has never been relegated in his Premier Soccer League (PSL) career.

The club is now under new management and the players’ past issues appear to be a thing of the past as the club in now restructuring. The club’s new owner Abram Sello has reportedly stated that the club will be based in the city area as opposed to being in Thohoyandou and he also confirmed that the team’s name will be changed next season.
