Nare credits team building exercise for Systems’ resurgence

Security Systems snapped their three match losing streak with an important 3-0 away win against Sankoyo Bush Bucks this past weekend in the BTC Premiership. The club had been in a slump prior to this past weekend but head coach Daniel ‘Chicco’ Nare has stated that the win has already done wonders in terms of building their confidence.
Nare revealed that the club’s president Gabriel Nkgetse eased the situation by setting up a team building exercise during the FIFA international break, the president hired two communication experts to have a team building session with the players in Modipane according to the coach.
“The turnaround was the FIFA week, there was a team building exercise in which players finally worked on their challenges by admitting that there was a division within the squad. The players managed to iron out their differences and pledged to fix the communication problem which had separated the squad into two camps. Players opened up and this has helped the squad to find a common understanding,” said Nare.
Systems won their weekend encounter against Sankoyo Bush Bucks through a brace from Simon Mashadza and another goal from Pako Gaofose. “You cannot win 3-0 away from home if you are not determined to perform well, the boys were prepared and we had a common goal. A clean sheet away from home is a morale booster for our goalkeeper and his defence. The squad will be confident again heading into the next game,” the coach continued.
The coach admitted that the first three consecutive defeats worried him a lot. “When you lose three successive games the pressure starts to mount. We are judged on results, if the results are not good the pressure will follow regardless of your CV. I am encouraged by the fact that the president is supportive, he did not try to play the blame game and point fingers, he is patient and this has encouraged all of us,” Nare concluded.
