Zebras 2-1 win over Group D opponents Comoros has extended the national teams 100 percent record at the Francistown Sports Complex. Goals from Galabgwe Moyana and Joel Mogorosi were enough to seal a narrow 2-1 win over Comoros and revive the home sides AFCON 2017 campaign.
Peter Butlers side has now been victorious in four games played at the Francistown based stadium. Botswana now has six points from four games, they are level on points with group rivals Uganda and Burkina Faso with a game more than the mentioned duo. The victory also saw the home side avenge a shock 1-0 defeat against Group D basement side Comoros on Thursday. Zebras next home game will be against Uganda on June 3rd at the Francistown Sports Complex.
