LETLHOGILE MPUANG

BTC Premiership giants Township Rollers, Orapa United and Mochudi Centre Chiefs are said to be keen on snatching away Black Forest star man Thatayaone Kgamanyane. The 21 year old has been a revelation for the Mankgodi side since the start of the season, to this point; he has scored four goals and earned three Man of the Match accolades to his name in the league.
His form has since attracted the attention of the league’s top sides, who are eager to add a few boosts to their squads ahead of the second round. According to information reaching this publication, all the three mentioned sides have expressed interest in the player.
Despite Orapa United appearing to be the early front runners in the pursuit, it is unlikely that the left footed playmaker will make a move in this transfer window. Forest are said to be ready to hold onto to their star player for at least until the end of the season.
Systems close in on Moyo
Security Systems are believed to be close to signing Gaborone United striker Hedrick Moyo. “Djemba Djemba” has struggled reaching the heights he found while playing for Orapa United in the 2013/14 season. Since completing his move to GU, the Zebras forward has scored less than 10 goals in almost two seasons, this pushing him ever closer to his exit at the club.
However the league rookies are likely to provide an escape route for the striker. It is expected that the deal could be finalized in the next couple of days, with GU having agreed to release the player for free.
BDF/Galaxy keen on Ntwaitsile
Gilport Lions utility player Mosimanegape Ntwaitsile could end up at either BDF XI or Jwaneng Galaxy, come the end of this transfer window. The former Extension Gunners player is one of the most sought after players in this window period, with his current club stating that they will not stand in the player’s way should an offer be presented.
Though giants Township Rollers, Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Gaborone United were reported to be ‘interested’ in the prospect of signing the defender cum midfielder, Gazette Sport can reveal that it is BDF XI and Jwaneng Galaxy that are likely to land the player. “The player has been in contact with both BDF and Galaxy; both teams are serious about signing him. He will be joining one of those two sides,” said a source close to the player.
Mmipi, Kgetholitsile join Gunners
Extension Gunners have completed the signing of Ofentse Mmipi and Kenanao Kgetholitsile from Gilport Lions on free transfers. The two players were forced to leave the Lions due to the club’s financial woes that saw players go months without pay. The duo’s arrival will no doubt give Gunners a boost upfront, which has been coach Daniel Nare’s decry throughout the season. Some of the deals that have been completed Gaopatwe Seosenyeng (Mochudi Centre Chiefs) Katlego Koobake (Mochudi Centre Chiefs) Tendai Nyamadzawo (Mochudi Centre Chiefs) Mpho Kgaswane (Baroka FC, South Africa).
