Gaborone United has expressedinterest in one ofBotswana’s most talentedyoungsters, Thatayaone Ramatlapeng.The youngster was the drivingforce behind the Botswanaunder 17 side’s impressive exploitslast season. The Mascom Top 8winners are now negotiating a dealwith Tlokweng Home Sweepers tosign the 17 year old sensation.Ramatlapeng had been linkedwith numerous clubs in the be-Mobile Premier League but Moyagoleeleremain the only club tohave submitted an offer for theforward.
Mochudi Centre Chiefshad been previously linked withthe youngster but David Bright hasmoved ahead of his rivals by sanctioningan official move for Botswana’sbest young player.GU’s secretary general, HerbertLetsebe told Gazette Sport thatthey have started negotiations withthe youngster. “He has bags of potential;the player will be a star inthe near future.
