Hotwire PRC, Botswana’s leading Puplic Relations agencies recently celebrated Tanlume Enyatseng, a Gaborone-based PR Consultant at the firm as he continues to make his mark in the creative space. Tanlume’s most recent feat sees work from his blog, Banana Emoji, featured as wallpaper on global platform, WeTransfer, throughout the month.
Tanlume, who serves as a great example of young BW talent doing big things, is a writer, content producer and creative. He established www.bananaemoji.com in 2016 with the aim to illustrate today’s evolving culture through art, social commentary, fashion and humor.
“It is a tremendous honour to have my work featured on such a notable platform. I am humbled. This is not only a debut for myself but also Botswana’s creative scene, as no other Motswana has been featured on the site. I’ve always just wanted to create a platform for the weirdos, nerds and free-spirited to feel at home, and just create honest and relatable content. So to get recognition for my work feels very special. A true pat on the back,” said Enyatseng on his WeTransfer debut.
WeTransfer is an international cloud-based computer file transfer service. Majority of WeTransfer comprise the creative community, in which the company works to play a pivotal part, including through its WePresent platform. Since the launch of WeTransfer, it has given away an estimated 30% of the background wallpaper images (advertising space), largely to showcase artists, designers, musicians, illustrators, photographers, bloggers and creative organisations. This sees billions of impressions granted to the creative community.
