In a bid to make their meals accessible to their customers in Gaborone, KFC Botswana has partnered with local food ordering and delivery application MyFoodness. Both companies announced they are taking a staggered approach to the rollout of KFC branches on MyFoodness app. The first branch which is now available to order from through the app is the Railpark branch. The rest of the branches, which have been pre-selected for delivery, will follow shortly and other KFC branches will follow suit in the coming months.
“We spent time with the MyFoodness team planning this launch, both from a technical and operational view point. As KFC, we are ready to respond to and fully serve the local market’s demand for food delivery. We are pleased to have found a local partner, which is made up of a strong team that is focused not only on tech and delivery logistics, but also on service excellence, learning fast and continually improving on their offerings,” said the General Manager of KFC Botswana, Wayne Thorresson.
Online food-delivery platforms such as MyFoodness are expanding choice and convenience, allowing customers to order from a wide array of restaurants with a single tap of their mobile phone.
“We are excited about this partnership with KFC. Consumers want convenience. And through this partnership, we are bringing the KFC food they crave, directly to their doorstep,” said Founder & CEO of MyFoodness, Boi Kgathi Rasmussen.
MyFoodness app is available for download on the Google Play Store (Android users) or Apple App Store (iOS users).
