Botswana’s golden boy, Letsile Tebogo, is taking his remarkable journey to new heights as the star of “Talent Unearthed,” a short film series created in collaboration with De Beers and Fortune Magazine.
This inspiring series highlights the transformative power of natural diamonds in shaping lives, communities and careers like Tebogo’s.
Announced as De Beers’ Global Brand Ambassador, Tebogo now serves as the face of a unique partnership celebrating Botswana’s natural treasures, not just its diamonds but its people as well.
Record-breaking sprinter
The “Talent Unearthed” series places the record-breaking sprinter at the forefront, showcasing how natural diamonds have contributed to uplifting Botswana’s communities and inspired countless success stories.
Speaking at a press briefing in Gaborone, De Beers’ Paul Rowley noted: “Spotlighting athletic talents whose success is deeply connected to Botswana, the series will demonstrate how natural diamonds have uplifted communities. It seeks to inspire the next generation of talent with Letsile Tebogo’s story of perseverance and dedication.”

For Tebogo, who was also at the presser, the collaboration is more than just a partnership but a reflection of his own life’s journey.
