AON Botswana donated food items worth P100 000 to the COVID-19 Disaster Relief Fund.
This was the company’s second donation, bringing the total cost of their donations to P250 000.
“One of our main objectives within our CSI space is to form a positive, sustainable and measurable impact in communities that we operate in,” said AON Director Barnabas Mavuma, adding that he hopes the donation will go a long way in aiding vulnerable families nationwide.
For his part, Director of the National Disaster Management in the Office of President, Moagi Baleseng appreciated Aon’s efforts and said the donation will help reduce the impact of COVID-19 on affected families. “These food hampers will help in reducing hunger in different parts of the country,” he concluded.
