Has featured in four consecutive games thus far

Local netball star Cheludo David has become a regular in the Wood Panthers attack having played her fourth consecutive game this past Friday. Panthers plays in the Premier League Division and David joined them last month on a three month contract ultimately being the first player in Africa and Botswana to play for a club in Adelaide, Australia.
The Sebina born player did not have a good start with the team as they lost 58-46 to Garville Netball Club in her maiden game. She tasted victory with her Australian club in her second game when they defeated Metro Jets 51-50. Her team, however, fell short in her third game as they lost 49-43 at the hands of Tango Netball Club before Cheludo proved influential in the attack of Panthers when they defeated Newton Jaguars 52-47 this past Friday.
“I am getting there, slowly but surely and my performances are improving with every game I play,” said Cheludo in a brief interview with Gazette Sport. “I however believe there are areas that I need to improve on, like being able to hold on to the ball strongly.”
Panthers are not having an easy ride in the league as they are placed in the sixth position in the eight-team league. They have amassed six points from eight games that they played having won three and lost five encounters.
Cheludo had told this publication late last month that she will work hard to ensure that she impresses and secures a long term contract with the Australian netball side. In Botswana Cheludo is registered in the books of Tasc Netball Club.
