Ramoraka’s Absence At TS Galaxy Explained

BONGANI MALUNGA

Sources close to South African based Zebras defender Lesenya Ramoraka have confirmed that the player is still part of TS Galaxy’s squad despite being inactive in their DSTV Premiership opener. Gazette Sport has established that the player has not yet been registered for the current season due to an undisclosed injury which has sidelined him at the moment. The club is aiming to aid the player’s recovery program and hopefully register him during the January transfer window.

Ramoraka’s club went through a major transformation after TS Galaxy purchased Highlands Park’s league status in recent months. As a result there has been a shake up in the club’s structure and squad, there was a bit of uncertainty about the future of some of the clubs from Highlands Park as owner Tim Sukazi had always maintained that he aimed to make the existing TS Galaxy players the core of the new team.

Ramoraka was a highly rated member of the Highlands Park squad and this did not go unnoticed by the new management as they negotiated fresh contractual terms with him for the forthcoming season and beyond.

“Yes (to answer your question) he is a part of the TS Galaxy squad. He has not been registered yet because he is injured. He will be registered during the January transfer period,” said a reliable source with links to the player.

Ramoraka’s new teammates made their DSTV Premiership debut this past weekend in a 1-1 draw against TTM FC, their next game will be against Amazulu today (Wednesday).
