As the 2024-25 FNB Premiership enters its fifth week, Mochudi Centre Chiefs have claimed the top spot with 10 points from four games.

Magosi, as Chiefs are affectionately known, have shown formidable form, boasting the league’s highest goal difference (+9) with 10 goals scored and only one conceded.

Their consistent defence and aggressive attack have set a high standard, making them the team to beat so far  this season.

Solid defensive approach

Following closely behind are Tafic FC with nine points. TAFIC also have a solid defensive approach thus far this season, having conceded only two goals and ‘netting’ six of their own to be within striking distance of Magosi.

They are set to face Security Systems in Lobatse this weekend and hope to close the gap at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Jwaneng Galaxy sit at third with eight points. Though they remain unbeaten, Galaxy’s scoring has been modest, with just three goals so far. They will aim to pick up pace in their upcoming home match against Nico United.
